Following a passionate Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) in the small town of Locust Grove, Georgia, this group holds benefits to raise and donate money to their kids' local elementary school. Run like a corporation, President Carla Stephens keeps a watchful eye on her fellow board members Shayzon Prince, Robin Dyke, Amber Bryant, LaShon Thompson, Amber Coulter and former member Shana Koorse. Despite their personalities, tantrums and outbursts, these ladies have their sights set high to raise and donate $100,000. Through lavish fundraising events from a Black Tie Gala to a Pink Pajama party, these mothers must work together and adhere to the strict rules and high expectations of their demanding commander-in-chief.
In a small town outside of Atlanta, Georgia, the local Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is run by President Carla Stephens and she will stop at nothing to make sure the local elementary school has everything it needs. At the first board meeting of the school year, Carla announces that she expects the PTO to raise and donate $100,000 to the elementary school and will need everyone to go over and beyond her high standards to make that happen. While new members Amber B., Amber C. and LaShon realize they are in over their heads, veteran Volunteer Coordinator Robin is off to a rough start and is already on probation. The Pink Pajama Party kicks off the first fundraising event of the season but when Robin hands out an unapproved party favor, it leads to a near breakdown and breakup of the PTO.
After a face-off with Carla, Robin pulls out all stops to get the board to override her probation. To raise morale among the group, Shayzon challenges Carla to loosen her reigns for the next fundraising event so everyone can concentrate on planning. Meanwhile, volunteer Amber C. finds herself in over her head with her PTO duties.
Amber B. and her ex-NFL husband throw an exclusive adults-only Halloween party that makes some of the PTO members raise more than just their eyebrows. Meanwhile, Robin flirts with the possibility of starting her own PTO coup with ex-board member Shana. Later on, a board meeting descends into chaos causing Carla to take action and remind the board of the chain of command.
Carla keeps the board on their toes after she makes a last minute change in the meeting venue and warns the ladies to wear comfortable shoes. Always one to put on a show stopping fundraiser, Shayzon begins to plan her posh Mother-Daughter Tea event, but to her dismay, not everything is tea and crumpets. Known as the one to go rouge, jaws drop when Robin reveals her plot to bring ex-board member Shana back into the fold in order to boost donations.
When the PTO decides to hold a fitness fundraiser, Amber B. presses her ex-NFL husband to bring in his impressive list of sports celebrities to raise big dollars. Meanwhile, when a simple game of touch football gets out of hand, Shayzon struggles to keep the ever growing tension between Carla and Robin from changing the board forever.
Newbie LaShon is under pressure as she plans her first fundraiser and does something she knows Carla would never approve. Meanwhile, Robin and Shana hatch a plot to jump ship and start their own fundraising event for the school.
The line between philanthropy and revenge becomes blurred as Shana and Robin strive to pull off a rogue fundraiser that could catapult them into the seat of presidential power. Meanwhile, Carla ramps up planning for the biggest money-maker of the year, the black tie gala, and tries to keep the board focused on the big picture. Finally, LaShon and Amber C. bond in ways Amber never imagined adult women could.
Feeling the heat of Robin's windfall at the golf fundraiser, Carla puts pressure on the board to step up their game. As the event draws near, the clock is also running out on who Carla will endorse to be next year's president. Meanwhile, Shana and Robin plan to crash the party and make an unforgettable, jaw-dropping contribution of their own.
