Prime Time explores the behind-the-scenes drama and humour of Lockhart Productions, a Television Production Company which produces a one-hour mid-week current affairs program, called Assignment, for a national television network. The show follows the working lives, private lives, successes and failures of the people who work on the program, both in front and behind the cameras.
