Unter den Linden

Unter den Linden is a German drama series about the fictional Gravenhorst dynasty in 1906. The Gravenhorst are one of the most influential families in Berlin in the young 20th century. With their chocolate factory, they have a traditional family company and live in a big mansion under the swell adress Unter den Linden.

The series tells the story about two young and individual women. One of them is the beautiful daughter from the Gravenhorst family, Friederike (Nina Bott, Gute Zeiten, schlechte Zeiten). The other woman is Anna Merthin (Annekathrin Bach), a normal maid from the country. It is a story about forbidden love, great feelings and a true friendship in a very difficult time.

The network Sat.1 showed the series in the early Sunday evening, 7.15pm. But the show didn't fit very well in the program that the network showed to this time and the series failed. After one month, Sat.1 showed the rest of the episodes in the early afternoon, until the show ended after 13 episodes.
