$40 a Day

Hosted and Created by Rachael Ray, $40 A Day is a food and travel show where she finds some of the best areas in the United States and Europe to tour. While on her tour, she has to stop at restaurants to eat, while she stays there from morning to night. She has to maintain her total amount of food from her breakfast to dinner under $40.

The show's aim was to make sure there was a possibility to make a nice trip without breaking your wallet on food. As Rachael traveled and ate at various locations, she was able to manage just that and was under her $40 a day budget every time. Premiering on April 1, 2002, the show managed to go 4 seasons.
