Mother and daughter team Kath and Jenni run City Sauna, Sheffield's premier ‘massage parlour'. Prostitution is legal in Britain as long as you're working alone. But if two prostitutes work together it's classed as a brothel and is illegal.In this series, Kath and Jenni give viewers a year of privileged access to City Sauna to show how their business works, to meet the women who work there, their clients, the intricacies of the business and their fight to legalise the brothels of Britain.City Sauna is now under more threat than ever before. Just 30 miles away, in Holbeck, Leeds, the council have closed down brothels and launched a controversial scheme to decriminalise street prostitution. It is the UK's only decriminalised street prostitution area and the stated aim was to make street workers safer. But residents blame it for soaring crime and drug abuse.With a major government enquiry underway into the buying and selling of sex, is it now time to rethink the law on brothels?

S1E1 - Episode 1
In this episode, Kath and Jenni visit Holbeck in Leeds and hear that crime and violence are on the rise, making them more determined to fight for legalisation, so all girls can be as safe as those at City.
Once back in Sheffield, Kath tries to freshen things up by hiring touring girl Autumn for a temporary guest stint, as well as trialling a sex robot in an effort to get Sheffield's punters talking about City.
Her efforts seem to be working, as the ‘holy grail' walks through the door: a new, young punter with money to spend and an eye for one of Kath's top girls, Lilly Lovesit.

S1E2 - Episode 2
In this episode, Kath and Jenni fly to Germany to visit a ‘mega-brothel' to see how brothels are run legally and what it would mean for them if they could operate within the realms of the law.
With fire in their bellies, Kath and Jenni take their campaigning for the decriminalisation of brothels to the streets of Sheffield. They are determined to push forward and get the 5,000 signatures they need for an audience with the council and, spurred on by their success locally, their campaign culminates in a march through central London.
Plus, Lilly, one of City's longest serving working girls, gets outed as a sex worker in her local neighbourhood which forces her to leave the country.
