Balamory

PC Plum must find the bird eating his prized strawberries. With Ava's bird translator, he discovers it's a chiffchaff and, after making friends with the bird, decides to share. 

Miss Hoolie and the nursery children are all set for a woodland adventure with Dr Ollie, but when a gust of wind rips a hole in his map, Ollie has to find a back-up. 

When Ava's dad can't lead the Balamory Games, she searches for a new chieftain. But then Dynamite the Gladiator surprises her by placing the chieftain's hat upon Ava's head. 

After diving in Balamory Bay, PC Plum dreams of taking the nursery children underwater. But when Ava's pretend submarine won't even fit through the door, imagination saves the day. 

Penny coaches PC Plum for the You Laugh You Lose contest against the Harbour Master. But keeping a straight face and making the Harbour Master laugh is trickier than expected. 

It's the Balamory dancey, but Ava is struggling to dance like anyone else. Inspired by the Harbour Master, Ava invents her own moves, which everyone at the nursery soon follows. 

Dr Ollie has lost his thinking cap and can't think up a new song for the nursery children. He dashes around Balamory searching for his hat but makes a surprising discovery. 

It's a sunny day, and Penny hopes for a relaxing time in her garden - but she ends up helping her friends in Balamory with all their busy tasks instead. 

Penny asks Miss Hoolie to look after her shop, promising some simple instructions. But after a chaotic test with a How-to Hat, Penny realises the best way to learn is through play. 

Dr Ollie urgently needs to nap, but with PC Plum testing his whistles, and Ava's headphones making things too quiet, the children finally lull him to sleep with a gentle lullaby.
