BBC Olympic Breakfast starts on Saturday 6th August at 6am, and will be waking up Britain with all the overnight action from Rio 2016.Based in a special studio within the home of BBC Sport for the duration of the Games, BBC Olympic Breakfast will be bringing audiences the overnight highlights and thrills of the world's greatest sporting spectacle.The regular team on the sofa will link up with Dan Walker, Ore Oduba and Kat Downes in Rio. It will be the first chance to catch up on all the medal moments, the latest news and the key interviews from the Games and of course to follow all the action from Team GB.In addition to the excitement of the Olympics, Breakfast will continue to feature the usual news, weather and regional bulletins.

Day 14 of the Olympic Games continues with a new boxing heavyweight gold medallist crowned in Tokyo. Great Britain's Cheavon Clarke entered the games hoping to join the likes of legendary Americans Joe Frazier and George Foreman as Olympic champions at this weight. Clarke worked as a lorry driver before deciding to concentrate fully on his boxing career. Sam Quek and Dan Walker also bring you action from the track cycling, diving and the final of the women's 20km race walk.

S2021E15 - Day 15: Olympic Breakfast

Dan Walker and Sam Quek introduce coverage as diver Tom Daley hopes to challenge for a medal in the 10m final. The 2012 bronze medallist has been a figurehead of his sport for well over a decade and will be desperate to reach the podium in what could be the 27-year-old's Olympic swansong.

There are four boxing finals to look forward to, including the women's flyweight, in which Great Britain's Charley Davison is fancied to contend for a medal. She took seven years out of the sport to have three children but has returned with a bang.

At the Kasumigaseki Country Club the battle for the gold in the women's golf reaches a dramatic conclusion.

S2021E16 - Day 16: Olympic Breakfast

Gabby Logan and Sam Quek introduce coverage of the conclusion of the Olympic boxing as four finals take place with Great Britain hoping to top the podium.

Former kickboxing world champion and Wales football international Lauren Price claimed a gold medal at the 2019 World Championship and is favourite for the middleweight title. Her young teammate Caroline Dubois is looking to turn youth Olympic gold into a senior one.

The final event is the men's super heavyweight, in which Team GB's Frazer Clarke went into the Games looking to match the achievements of his former sparring partners Anthony Joshua, who won gold at London 2012, and Joe Joyce, who claimed silver in Rio.

There will also be action from the gold medal matches in handball, volleyball and water polo.
