The series revolves around a popular neighborhood in Rotterdam. Pronk, the hairdresser and hustler of the first order; Akersloot is a integer policeman (thinking of the early'60s of the 20th century).
The series centralizes around a barbershop. Although a comedy, there were social issues were addressed such as discrimination, underclass against top class etc.
