Matt Helm was gone by february 1976, so ABC replaced a swinging Private eye with a tough cop, Bert D'Angelo (Paul Sorvino), who, like dozens of TV cops, roamed the very familiar San Francisco hills. Life expectancy for any series in that time spot on ABC was short. Costars in the series were Robert Pine and Dennis Patrick. "BERT D ANGELO/SUPERSTAR" He led the N Y Police Department in arrests and citations. Now he's in a new town trying to get things done... his way!
