Black Work is the story of Jo Gillespie, a woman who's husband is shot dead in the line of action, in his job as a undercover cop. Jo, a police officer herself soon has to confront issues in her marriage and family life in order to discover who really killed her husband.

S1E1 - Episode 1
PC Jo Gillespie is distraught when her husband, Ryan, is found shot dead in an industrial warehouse. When she learns that he was killed while working undercover, Jo questions how well she really knew her husband. Dismayed by her fellow officers' inattention to the case, she sets out to find the murderer on her own.
