Cats' Eyes was a BBC educational programme broadcast as part of BBC Schools which aired in the mornings on BBC Two before the CBBC time slot began.

The basic idea of Cats' Eyes was for primary children to learn about scientific issues, and the show was used by teachers in primary schools in Science lessons. Two cats named Jimmy and Juke live in a back-alley and annoy Alf, the pizza shop owner at every opportunity. Each episode deals with an activity that Jimmy and Juke are getting involved with, and this is linked to some sort of scientific principle which presenters explain in film inserts. Then at the end of the programme Jimmy and Juke sing a song about the subject of the episode.

Cats' Eyes began in 1994 and finally ended in 2003 after producing over 40 episodes. The show was immensely popular with the kids who went to school at the time it was shown (94-03) and remains one of the best educational shows to come from the BBC.
