The Senate was in session Sunday but there is no end in sight to the partial shutdown fight, or the blame game, with Democrats and Republicans still far apart on a deal to fund the Department of Homeland Security. Cristian Benavides reports. Iranian ballistic missiles struck Israel overnight, inflicting damage on a scale not seen there since the beginning of the war. Charlie D'Agata reports. Hawaii is under a flood watch after weeks of heavy rain triggered the worst flooding there in 20 years. Carter Evans reports and Andrew Kozak has a look at the national forecast. Thousands of miles from the Middle East, the Iran war has triggered a crisis in Asia with energy shortages hitting almost every country on the continent, all dependent on the Persian Gulf for supply. Anna Coren reports. NASA's Artemis II rocket is back on the launch pad after repairs inside the massive Vehicle Assembly Building at the Kennedy Space Center. Protesters across the U.S. and the world took to the streets as part of the latest "No Kings" rallies against President Trump and his administration. Among the biggest was in St. Paul, Minnesota. Cristian Benavides reports. The Houthis, an Iranian-backed militant group in Yemen, entered the widening conflict in the Middle East Saturday, launching an unsuccessful missile attack on Israel. Meanwhile, about 3,500 more U.S. troops have arrived in the Middle East. Holly Williams reports. Golf legend Tiger Woods was charged with driving under the influence after a vehicle crash in Florida on Friday, prompting new questions about what comes next for his career. Nicole Valdes has more details. The 322-foot rocket set to launch Artemis II stood ready on the pad at the Kennedy Space Center on Saturday. It will be the first crewed moonshot in over a half-century. Mark Strassmann is there. Dr. Henry Lee, a renowned forensic scientist who testified for O.J. Simpson's defense during his murder trial, has died at 87. In Altadena, California, Rene Amy is walking the empty lots of the Eaton Fire burn scar, scattering poppy seeds.
