SportsNet New York is a regional Sports Network located in New York City. The Network has 3 principal owners in the New York Mets, Time Warner Cable & Comcast Cable. The Network was established in 2006 mainly to help the New York Mets get more games on the air then they would normally have. Since then the Network has been airing College Basketball & Football. They not only cover the New York Mets but also the New York Jets, Big East Conference games, and most games played by the UConn Huskies.
