Communism's Heroes was a one off BBC2 drama documentary about the history of Communism as an ideology and all the people who claimed to be Communists, and what those people did. A question posed in the programme is, How would Karl Marx have reacted to what the likes of Lenin, Stalin and Mao did in the name of Communism and Marxism, if he were alive today? Would he be completely horrified at how they turned a democratic egalatarian ideology into a autocratic capitalist state with terror, repression and personality cults.
