Ever wonder what it takes to become involved in the field of forensics? A strong stomach and a love of science are a good start, but it takes much more than that. Follow Dr. Shaler, a pioneer in the field of forensic science, as he educates 12 students on what it really takes to solve a case.

Dr. Shaler has created a unique, hands-on forensics program at Penn State University. Here, students are split into two teams and are given the opportunity to learn techniques of professionals. They then apply their knowledge to realistic, gruesome crime scenes designed by Dr. Shaler.
