From the worldwide known series Dancing With the Stars, in the New Zealand version, eight celebrity contestants are paired up with internationally renowned professional dancers. Throughout the competition, the celebrities have the chance to learn different styles of dancing, such as the Latin-flavored Samba and the tradicional Waltz.. They perform in front of a live audience and fight to stay in the competition as the judges and the viewers decide who will be crowned Dancing With the Stars (NZ) Champion.
