Dane Cook Troublemaker

Brace yourselves, America; Dane Cook is coming to your living rooms in October.

Cook's new comedy special, “Troublemaker,” will premiere on Showtime Oct. 17 at 10 p.m., the network said Thursday.

Besides showcasing Cook's “acerbic wit and patented brand of provocative, on-fire comedic insight,” the special also serves as his directorial debut, so audiences will be exposed to yet another talent of the comedian, who's known to some as America's funnyman.

“This comedy event shows off Cook's ability to not only perform in-depth comedy routines, but film them in a style that speaks to a new generation of comedy fans everywhere,” Showtime said in a release. (Source: The Hollywood Reporter)
