Debate with Mare at Pare

The weekly live talk, open debate show titled “Debate with Mare at Pare” also known as “Debate With Mare And Pare” aired on the GMA network every Thursday night at 12 Midnight. The co-hosts of this series were “Oscar Pareng Oca Orbos” and “Solita Mareng Winnie Monsod” who was a former Professor of Economics also acted as the shows’ moderators for the debates. The debate topic of the day could be voted on live by the in home viewers by Phone, Internet or via SMS text messaging. Before the use of SMS from 1998 to 2000 viewers could also vote using their pagers.
