Disinformation (US)

Disinformation originally aired for 2 seasons on Channel 4 in the UK as part of the "4Later" block. It featured many eccentric artists, painters, film makrs, performance artists (such as painter Joe Coleman, controversial musician Genesis P-Orridge to name a couple).

The US SciFi channel was planning on airing 4 episodes edited from all the material shown in the UK (plus some unaired segments). That plan was shelved due to the extreme content of the show that would require a massive cut in order to meet with the network's legal limitations.
