His determined sister Brigit has criminals in her circle of acquaintances, but she manages to convince Dries that she had nothing to do with the murder. Benjamin van Berkel's alleged innocence is widely publicized by his lawyer in the run-up to his appeal. Hein tries to persuade an accomplice to come clean.
