The Twiliters was a folk music group organized in 1963 by Kerry White, Hans Stampfer and Jim Maguire and native to West Australia (many early performances occurred at Perth's Quitapena coffee shop). Eventually Stampfer left and the group recruited Greg Ferris; this incarnation reached sufficient popularity that Australia's ABC gave them Good Grief, It's The Twiliters, a music and variety show. This series lasted just one year and the group disbanded when the series ended. The series featured their interpretations of Anglo-American folk hits such as "Mary Don't You Weep", "Bottle of Wine", and "Green, Green" but the occasionally slipped in their own material and gave local groups opportunities.
