Around 200 Swedes volunteered to fight as SS soldiers for Nazi countries. Who were they? Who were they? What happened to them during and after the war? Waffen-SS became acquainted with massacres and ethnic cleansing. Documents reveal that Swedish SS soldiers knew at the time of the Holocaust, but the information was classified as homeless. Families and some of the Swedes themselves tell us through recordings, letters and diaries.
