Inuyasha, a half-dog demon who takes the Jewel of the Four Souls. After escaping with the jewel, he was soon pinned to a tree by a priestess name, Kikyo. So Kikyo decided so the Sacred Jewel won't fall into the wrong hands again, was to burned it with her.

Fifty years later, a girl name Kagome who doesn't know she is the reincarnation of Kikyo. When she went to get her cat, she was dragged down by a demon centipede through the Bone Eaters Well. The centipede get the jewel but only to be destroyed by Inuyasha after. Later on after the jewel was shattered into a lot of pieces. Inuyasha and Kagome's journey beings....

Every journey they're on they meet new people every time. Especially their fellow comrades Shippo, Miroku, and Sango, and Kirara. For they are all in search of the sacred jewel shards and the killing of Naraku.
