Lady Chatterley's Lover

Lady Constance Chatterley is happily married to Sir Clifford Chatterley but after he is severely wounded serving during the First World War things change. He becomes confined to a wheelchair and impotent and becomes more distant. Constance manages to find comfort in the company of the estate’s lonely gamekeeper, Oliver Mellors. The social divide between the upper class and their servants was unbreakable during the 1920's and an affair between a lady and a working man would scandalise society and would leave them both ostracisd. She finds herself having to choose between propriety and love, while Mellors risks his safety, as they both attempt to avoid the growing suspicions of her vengeful husband.
