A comedy about the experiences of young Jewish boy in the mid-1960's who often speaks into the camera to explain what he is thinking. Max's family includes his father Henry and mother Sarah, who live above the family TV shop in Beausejour, Manitoba along with his parents Abe and Brina. Max has a crush on a girl named Celina Bzjinski, who hasn't revealed any feelings towards him.
