Mermaids to Lovers

For 17-year-old Trixie, every lap counts: she only has this summer left to make the national team. But her training plan is thrown into disarray when mermaiding star Finn of the Sea and his crew show up at her grandpa's swimming pool. Sparks fly between the ambitious swimmers and the dazzling amateur mermaids – and Trixie's plan to get rid of the fin-obsessed freaks backfires spectacularly. Mermazing!

As if Finn's screaming fans weren't annoying enough, a war for training times breaks out in the bathroom: Finn has snagged all the good slots. And Trixie's grandpa is even tolerating it! Trixie challenges Finn to a swimming race – whoever wins gets to decide the schedule. But when Finn's mum, Shellie, films the duel and suddenly the whole internet is watching, Trixie's stage fright kicks in. But she'll easily beat this fake fish – right?

After Finn makes peace, Trixie actually agrees to try mermaiding – and ends up in a kids' class, of all places. They barely have time to have fun together when Finn steals all the attention during a sponsor's visit. Frustrated, Trixie and her friends lure him to the "MetalChlor" metal concert to get revenge. But when Finn suddenly opens up to Trixie, everything changes.

After the concert, Trixie and Finn finally grow closer. For the first time, Trixie lets her guard down and confides a secret to Finn. His empathy gives her new courage – and helps her rock the next competition. But on Trixie's birthday, everything changes: Finn has revealed her secret to his mom?! Hurt, Trixie posts a video of Finn that changes everything.

While the injured Finn fights to clear his name, Trixie and her friends learn that the swimming pool is facing closure. To save it, they compete in the SeaSTAR competition – in fins! In the final, Trixie and Finn face off as rivals. But then Finn proves his courage by showing his true self. And Trixie realizes: It's no longer just about winning. Can she finally acknowledge her feelings and win Finn back?
