'Northern Soul' documents the Northern Soul musical phenomenon, the most exciting club movement of the 1970s, with thousands of disenchanted white working class youths across the North of England, dancing to 60s Motown inspired music until the early hours of the morning. Featuring contributions from DJs and music moguls of the era, including Richard Searling, Ian Levine, Colin Curtis, Kev Roberts, Lisa Stansfield, Norman Jay, Pete Waterman, Marc Almond and Peter Stringfellow.
