“Okey Ka Fairy Ko!” translated into English is "You're OK, My Fairy" was a weekday Comedy fantasy series that is said to have been the show that started the “Telefantasya” genre in the Philippines. This series began in 1987 on the IBC-13 TV network until 1989 when it moved over to the ABS-CBN network. It stayed on that network until 1995 and then transferred to the GMA network where it finished its’ long 10 year run in 1997. Vicente Kabisote Jr. who went by Enteng Kabisote and who was played by “Vic Sotto” was a mortal and he married a princess. Faye who was first played by “Alice Dixson” and who was in disguise as a mortal was really Princess Chlorateam who was a fairy princess. Alice left the show after only 2 years and was replaced by actress and model “Tweetie de Leon” who played the part for 4 years. “Dawn Zulueta” was the next actress to play the part of Faye and stayed until the show ended in 1997. This series spawned3 movies in which actress “Kristine Hermosa” played the part of Faye in all 3.
