Three men enter a bank in Strömstad on the Swedish west coast. A couple of minutes later three poeple are taken hostages. The police in Strömstad does not respond to the robbers' demands, they don't even answer the robbers' call. Instead all the bank's phones are redirected to an answering machine which tells the robbers to surrender.
