Rosa Diamante

The story starts off with a woman giving birth to a baby.

We see a scene where Rosaura Sotomayor explains that the baby needs to disappear and never again show up in their lives. She puts some diamonds with the baby- one of them were pink and tells the other woman to take her away to the college of the ladies- where the diamonds would be the payment for her education.

Years later Rosa has grown up to be a beautiful girl, but the need for her parents and the question of who they are won't let her live happily, and only her best friend Eva Sotomayor understands her pain- as she has too lost her parents at the age of eight years old.

José Ignacio (Nacho) Altamirano is a young man who doesn't take life or love too seriously. After his father decided to put him as the president of Aqua he decided to take a weekend away from home and his girlfriend Bárbara Montenegro. He visits a town with his friend Sergio and their weekend plans certainly involve woman.

That night he meets Rosa Andrade- a girl from a local school for ladies. He tries to seduce her but gets rejected by her, something that rarely happens to him. He is drawn into her, but the same nigh- after being rejected by Rosa, José Ignacio wants to prove that no woman (except Rosa) can resist him and so he seduces Eva Sotomayor- with the lie that his name was 'Adam'.

Soon Rosa finds out about a supposed romance of her bestfriend Eva and gets a huge surprise when she finds out that Eva's supposed boyfriend Adam is in reality the same man who tried to seduce her- José Ignacio Altamirano.

She tries to warn her bestfriend about the true identity of Adam but Eva is too blinded by the love for him, so doesn't believe in her bestfiend and almost ends their friendship. Wanting to prove to Adam (José Ignacio) that she is not a girl but a woman she sleeps with him and is then shocked with the reality when the next day she gets to discover that indeed 'Adam' was all a lie and he had left the town before she could even say goodbye.

Soon Eva finds herself pregnant with the baby of José Ignacio Altamirano and she is desperate. She gives birth to her baby with the help of Rosa and they swear to be the best mothers to the baby and guide him forever.

Eva's grandfather soon experiences heart attack and dies after discovering that Rosaura Sotomayor (his wife) is not blind as she has stated to me.

Eva and Rosa experience a car accident on their way to the capital where Eva was to take control of all the money of Eduardo Sotomayor. Eva dies while Rosa survives with the handbag of Eva. The Sotomayors think that she is Eva and so she goes to pass for her bestfriend Eva- to save the baby Eduardito from orphanage and guide him just like she promised to Eva. After many confrontations with Jose Ignacio, Rosa begins to fall in love with him and they end up making love in the forest;) After this, they return to their ordinary lives but this time with their hearts and feelings more connected.
