Some of them can use a guiding hand. Second Act is RLTV’s new series that encounters boomers at a critical transition point in their lives and arms them with the tools they need to succeed.

Host Paul DiMeo, the popular carpenter and designer best known from nine seasons on two-time Emmy Award-winning Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, assesses the participants’ strengths and challenges. He then assembles a team of experts to provide encouragement, advice and assistance to help them get off on the right foot. This expert guidance and information results in a show that’s as informative as it is entertaining — and motivates us all to dream big.

Whether it’s a woman who realizes her dream of opening a community theater after losing her job, a man who becomes a comedian after decades of being a government attorney, a newly married boomer couple opening a bed and breakfast — or any one of a number of other distinctive personalities and stories — the people featured on Second Act have turned challenges into opportunities.
