While trying to secure a research grant, a strait-laced British anthropologist named Dr Jonathan MacKensie, teams up with a tabloid reporter named Edgar 'Benny' Benedek, to investigate the alleged haunting surrounding a teenage boy. After solving the case, the duo decide to pair up and continue investigating other 'paranormal' occurences.
