“Showbiz India” is a weekend variety, entertainment news series that airs every Saturday afternoon at 1PM, EST on the IATV Network in India. It is a combination of American shows like “Entertainment Tonight”, “Extra” and “Inside Edition” but much more. Repeats of the show air several times during the week in the wee hours of the morning. This series began in January 1998 and in 2008 began its’ 11th consecutive season on the air. The host/hostess of this series is the beautiful and talented Indian actress “Reshma Dordi”. Reshma is also one of the producers of this series and was previously crowned the first ever Miss L. A. India in 1988.
