When the archipelago's most beautiful in early summer, a new doctor, John Steen, comes to the medical practice at Saltö.
With him he has his twelve year old daughter Wilma. Johan won't get it easy in his new role. Both the old doctor and the islanders are suspicious but John is tough and does things his own way.
