Animal Planet has added yet another series to its winter lineup: "Snake Man of Appalachia". The six-episode series, premiering Thursday, January 12 at 9:00/8:00c, follows the lives of the Shorts, which the network describes as "an extraordinary Appalachian family with deep roots in the serpent-handling religion." Dan Sexton Media is behind the project.
