A creature from beyond the stars can take on the shape of your worst fear... or a clown, because everyone loves clowns. Every 27 years the creature--It--emerges from hibernation to feed on children. Strange disappearances start occurring again and Mike Hanlon who still lives in Derry Maine calls a group of old friends together from his childhood who were known as the "Losers Club" to help fight It.
