The Iranian government has reportedly sent a response to a United States peace proposal. Iranian media reports that Iran has now passed its response to Pakistani mediators, saying it focuses on ending the war and safety of maritime traffic in the Gulf and Strait of Hormuz. Russian President Vladimir Putin told reporters on Saturday he believes the war he started in Ukraine more than four years ago is coming to an end. Russian and Ukraine are in the middle of a three-day ceasefire brokered by President Donald Trump.
