Tasty Travels with Lynda Bellingham

Today the new daytime ITV programme ‘My tasty travels with Lynda Bellingham’ airs at 4pm. There are 20 hour long episodes in total and they will be shown everyday this month. The programme sees Lynda Bellingham take to the road in her vintage campervan “Battenburg” on a quest to seek out Britain’s best summer eats and visit the people and places that make this country so special.
From country fetes to Food and Drink Festivals, family picnics to cricket teas, street food to street parties, Lynda will immerse herself in the people and places that give this country its distinct seasonal flavour.

In every episode Lynda is tasked with a food challenge and her culinary skills are put to the test as she rustles up a variety of dishes. Her missions include baking a perfect victoria sandwich for the Women’s Institute to creating a curry for the local lifeboat men. On episode 9, Thursday 13th Lynda takes her hand to harness racing.
