The Big Quiz is an entertainment quiz show hosted by Stephen Mulhern. The first episode aired on Friday 16 December 2011 with the teams consisting of the cast of Coronation Street's Jennie McAlpine, Malcolm Hebden, Patti Clare and Jack P Shepherd and Emmerdale's Mark Charnock, Natalie Anderson, Danny Miller and Meg Johnson. The second episode aired at 8.00pm on Sunday 15 April 2012 on ITV1, with the teams consisting of the cast of the hit comedy Benidorm: Jake Canuso, Crissy Rock, Janine Duvitski and Shelley Longworth take on reality show The Only Way is Essex consisting of Joey Essex, Lauren Goodger, James Argent and Gemma Collins. The contestants face questions on memorable moments from both programmesThe third show will be titled as 'The Big Sports Quiz' which will also be hosted by Stephen Mulhern, seeing boys and girls battle for who's best at sport.

S2021E1 - The Big Soap Quiz: Coronation Street vs. Emmerdale
Stephen Mulhern hosts a special edition of the quiz show in which teams from ITV's biggest soaps battle it out to find out who knows the most about their show. Jack P Shepherd is the captain of the Corrie team and is joined by Jane Danson and Tanisha Gorey, while Mark Charnock leads the Emmerdale contingent of Sally Dexter and Emile John.

Stephen Mulhern hosts the annual clash in which teams from ITV's biggest soaps battle it out to find out who knows the most about their show. Jack P Shepherd is the captain of the Corrie team and is joined by Sally Dynevor, Ryan Russell, while Mark Charnock leads the Emmerdale contingent of Nicola Wheeler and Jurell Carter. There are surprises in store as Ken Barlow and Eric Pollard go missing in a game called National Treasure Hunt, and the teams are tasked with identifying former co-stars in Soapstars in the Shadows.

S2023E1 - The Big Quiz: Coronation Street v Emmerdale
Tension is running high as the casts of Coronation Street and Emmerdale battle it out to find out who knows the most about their soap. Joining Coronation Street team captain Jack P Shepherd this time are Channique Sterling-Brown, and Tony Maudsley. Against them, playing for Emmerdale, are Natalie Ann Jamieson and Kevin Mathurin alongside their team captain Mark Charnock. Rounds that test their knowledge of the past ‘Year In Soap', their colleagues' social media postings in ‘Soapstars Off Set', and their musical ears with ‘Singalong a Soapstar'. There are also surprises in store with two ‘Secret Soapstars' to be identified from visual clues alone. Both teams want to win, but who will lift the trophy this time?
