The Jack Benny Program was a comedy series which was broadcast on CBS in the United States. Jack Benny brought his popular radio show to television along with most of the radio show's cast. Eddie Anderson played Rochester, Jack's loyal and long-suffering valet, Don Wilson was the overweight show announcer, Dennis Day was the dim-witted boy tenor, and Mary Livingstone (Benny's real life wife) was his galpal and frequent comedic foil. The show was a huge hit for most of its run becoming a Sunday night tradition in many American households. All in all, the show aired for 15 seasons with the final season switching networks to NBC.
