Joseon Crown Prince Lee Gang is known by many as an unserious, pleasure-seeking man, but he uses this facade to mask his deep pain from losing his beloved wife. While his mother tries to find him a new spouse, he's dismissive of her attempts, only wishing to pursue revenge. His life takes a turn when he runs into Park Dal I, a merchant with amnesia who bears a startling resemblance to his wife. Although Dal I and Lee Gang's first meeting goes poorly, they soon find themselves as unlikely allies helping those in need. However, the two awaken one morning to the shock of a lifetime: they've swapped bodies. As Lee Gang and Dal I try to figure out how this happened, they uncover political conspiracies and dangerous secrets – and that their connection might run deeper than they think.

S1E12 - The Woman in White
The Left State Councillor apprehends Dal's parents and Hong Nan to have them executed. He demands Dal to expose her true identity to save them, and Dal reveals that she is the Deposed Crown Princess. She is imprisoned, but with U Hui's help, she escapes and heads to Mount Gamak to find proof to bring down the Left State Councillor.

S1E13 - A Sword’s Purpose
Prince Je Un finds the hidden message in the military treatise that shares the location of the Left State Councillor's private army base. Meanwhile, Dal secretly meets U Hui and shares her plan on the day of the Royal Wedding.

After the Left State Councilor's crimes are revealed, U Hui gets imprisoned, and when Un comes to rescue, she refuses to leave.
