In Cannock, PC Ade Cash joins the hunt for a Mondeo that's failed to stop for police. When another unit gets behind it, the driver makes off - reaching speeds of 80mph in a 60 zone and crashing into other motorists. On the M6, PC Mark Gribble is training PC Aaron Hardy in the art of spotting dodgy drivers. Aaron clocks a dog in the driver's seat - a first even for Mark.

Late at night, PCs Chris Bagnall and Tom Cordall respond to reports of a hit and run - a suspected drink driver in a Land Rover has driven over a pedestrian and made off. On the nightshift, the sergeant calls in a fail to stop with a Ford Fiesta. PC Ben Edwards races to back up, but moments after the sergeant radios for more patrols to join him, the suspect vehicle crashes. PC Ed Clarke is on the hunt for a suspected drug driver who, following an arrest for drug driving that morning, has got back in his car and is heading up the M6 to Glasgow.

At a roundabout, PC Elly Martin spots a motorbike just as the rider decides to go off-road and straight over the central island. On the M6, PC Lucy Pond is concerned about an Audi doing 55mph and hogging the middle lane. Lucy's keen to educate the driver on his standard of driving, especially when it's clear he's not wearing his seatbelt, and his tyres have seen better days.
