In Britain, a vehicle is towed away every five minutes as escalating rules and regulations around parking permits, suspended zones and residents' areas lead to increasing amounts of motorists facing inconvenience and penalties.The range of circumstances in which motors are seized or lifted varies widely, from driving without insurance to fraudsters using blue badges, and wrecks left behind after major road crashes.This series follows the officials tasked with taking the vehicles, dealing with the administration and the often bemused, angry motorists who face the consequences.

In the first episode, Lambeth Council parking fraud investigator Steve Davidson hits the streets. Steve's passion for his job is relentless. With parking prices in London rising and parking spaces decreasing, some motorists are tempted to break the law by faking parking permits and blue disabled badges – and it's Steve's job to track them down and bring them to justice.

In the second episode, Lambeth Council parking fraud investigator Steve Davidson hits the streets looking for fraudulent motors. The owner of a car races to collect it before Steve can get it towed after the investigator discovers the disabled badge displayed inside doesn't belong to him. Steve is keen to get the vehicle removed before the motorist arrives.
