Back in 1989, CBS gave game show host Pat Sajak a chance at hosting his own late night talk show against Johnny Carson's Tonight Show. The show lasted 15 months before getting the axe because of low ratings. Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh made his national television debut on the show as a guest host for Sajak.
