'The Specials' is adapted from a web-series of 10 minute episodes of the same name set in England. In the show we meet Sam, Hilly, Lucy, Lewis and Megan, all between the ages of 19-23, who are close friends and share one thing - they are all have an intellectual disability. The show is filmed over four years and follows the everyday difficulties the friends face.
