Congress is back from break with a lot to do before the end of the year. The DOJ is set to release the Epstein files; there's talk of pushing for extensions of the retiring tax credits and the all-important election in Tennessee.

President Trump is facing pushback from his own party over his administration's handling of the ongoing strikes in the Caribbean and escalation with Venezuela. This comes amid a blockbuster report from the Washington Post alleging Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth gave a spoken directive to "kill everybody" on an alleged drug boat the U.S. struck in the Caribbean.

A new report alleges Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth is using the Pentagon to wage retaliation on Trump's behalf. The report comes days after the Pentagon says it's investigating Senator Mark Kelly, who was one of six Democratic lawmakers in a short video reminding service members they can refuse unlawful orders.

New reporting reveals that the admiral who briefed lawmakers on the September boat strikes in the Caribbean,  told them that the alleged narco boat at the center of the September strike was actually heading to link up with another vessel bound for Suriname, not the U.S.

The ongoing fallout surrounding the boat strikes and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth. Plus, Republican Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna joins us to discuss her push to ban congressional stock trading.

New questions are emerging about another boat strike, this one on October 16. It targeted suspected drug runners. But unlike the double-tap September strike where two survivors were killed, two survivors in the October attack were rescued by U.S. forces and quickly repatriated to Colombia and Ecuador.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth remains in crisis mode for a September attack on an alleged drug boat in the Caribbean, and the revelation of a second strike to eliminate survivors. 

There are serious questions whether Hegseth will be the first member of the second Trump administration to get the chop.
