There's Something About Megan is a series that follows Megan McKenna as she swaps her Louboutins for a pair of dusty cowboy boots as she heads to the land of Dolly, Dallas and Deep Fried Everything – the USA - and firmly in her sights is the home of country music: Nashville, Tennessee.But in deepest Nashville (Where not a soul will have heard of Megan McKenna), to make it to the top she'll have to start right at the bottom as she attempts to break the American country music industry. Truly out of her comfort zone she'll taste the simple life and we'll be there to share all the highs and lows that her music journey will bring.

Megan arrives in Nashville, and after meeting one of the biggest agents in Music City, she sets about finding a gig. Unfortunately, after choosing a session guitarist to work with, she comes down with a nasty cough. Feeling low, run down and homesick, can she pick herself up in time to perform her very first Nashville show?

After meeting famous songwriter Beth Nielsen Chapman, Megan is invited to write a song at her country retreat. While out in the sticks, Megan decides to spend some time living the country lifestyle and, in a bid to connect with the locals, becomes a farmhand. Having been inspired by her time away from the city, Megan performs her own song at Nashville's world-famous Bluebird Cafe.
