Toshishita No Otoko

This story is about a mother and daughter who both fall in love with a younger man. Chikako (Izumi Inamori), the daughter, had proposed to Izaki (Katsunori Takahashi), and was broken hearted when he turned her down. She soon finds her attention captured by Kengo (Toshiki Kashu), a friend of her younger brother's. Meanwhile, Chikako notices that her mother, Hanae (Jun Fubuki), has been spending more time prettying herself up. Hanae is also in love, and her lover is Izaki, Chikako's ex-boyfriend!
