Totally Hidden Video was a hidden camera show hosted by Steve Scrovan and Executive Produced by Kevin Wendle and Bob Pittman. Quantum Media was the production company. In addition to hidden camera stunts inspired in part by Candid Camera, it was the first TV show in history to encourage viewers to submit their home videos. Though this show was cancelled after two seasons, the idea was ripped off by America's Funniest Home Videos and became a huge success thanks to its distribution on ABC instead of FOX which at the time was only two years old and therefore could not get the attention of the audience as quickly as ABC even though Fox was first with the idea. Interestingly, when the show first premiered, it was at that time the highest rated premiere in the history of the young Fox network and was the network's highest rated show during it's first season produced by Fox co-founder Kevin Wendle. Kevin left at the start of the second season and the show lost it's way and was cancelled one year later.
