The "United States Poker Championship" (USPC), held at Atlantic City, New Jersey's Trump Taj Mahal, is a main annual event in the World Poker Tour. Although it's not as prestigious as the World Series of Poker, it certainly makes its mark on the WPT.

The Taj Mahal's poker staff has been conducting tournaments for the larger part of the past decade.

In opposition to most other US tournaments which offer only No-limit Texas Hold'em, at the "United States Poker Championship" players are able to choose their preferred game. They can choose Omaha Hi/Lo, Seven Card Stud, and/or Seven Card Stud Hi/Lo.

The championship tournament is televised by ESPN and attended by a troupe of poker stars. (Source: http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/tvlistings/scheduleWeek?spo)
